Organic Kitchen Garden

Organic & Bio-dynamic

At Mavis’s "Kitchen Garden" we have used "Bio Dynamic" and "Organic" growing methods.  This delivers Fresh Daily produce, carrying through our ethos of healthy, seasonal eating.

We grow produce such as Rocket, Mescalin and many other salad greens. We also grow Fennel, Sage, Thyme, Basil and other additional herbs to be used in our Kitchen.

Environmentally friendly

As well as providing the freshest, tastiest ingredients, our garden also boasts a worm farm and chooks (yes, we use their eggs for our dishes) to recycle kitchens greens and organic materials, helping us to reduce our landfill "green waste".

Our "happy chooks" provide us with fresh laid eggs for our dishes, and we carry our Organic and Recycled vision into the restaurant where possible.

Kitchen Garden

Our "Kitchen Garden" is the perfect place for you to have a wander before or after lunch, or Dinner or you can just sit & relax in this beautiful environment.

We also sell our Organic Produce upstairs in Mavis’s Kitchen.  Just ask our staff about what is has been picked “fresh today” for you to buy!

Our "Kitchen Garden" has been designed and constructed with the guidance of Lana Tyacke and Rob Cottrell from "The Designer Palette", two of our regions' finest Garden Designers and Sculptors. You will be able to view and purchase Lana and Robs work here at Mavis’s Kitchen.
